Zaira Wasim – Dangal Girl Quits – A Debate in Bollywood

The gorgeous and innocent looking Zaira Wasim who played a leading role in Amir Khan’s Dangal Movie shocked the Bollywood recently by deciding to leave the industry. She said due to her attachment and devotion to her religion Islam, she has decided not to work anymore in the Film Industry.

Zaira Wasim’s decision about leaving the Bollywood Industry and the film world stormed a debate in the industry. We could see hundreds or Bollywood stars tweeting against her decision while others were call her a brave girl for taking such a bold and brave step.

Raveena Tandon, exBollywood Heroine tweeted and said Zaira Waseem is ungrateful because this industry has given her a new world of fame and leaving it like this is not graceful.

Renowned Film Star Anupam Kher said it’s a sad news that Zaira Waseem who is just 17 years old took such a bold decision due to religious sentiments. He further said, he respects her feelings but it’s a sad news.

Film Star Nagma appreciated the decision and called Zaira Waseem a courageous girl.

Omer Abdullah – the former CM of Kashmir said everyone is free to choose whatever he or she wants. He wished Zaira Wasim to be happy.

Bollywood Producer and Director Onir always expressed his mixed views about #ZairaWasim decision.

Though Zaira Wasim has ended her Bollywood career but we will be able to enjoy her last work. Her last movie “The Sky is Pink” with Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Shonali Bose will release this year in October. Her 5 years’ hard work and struggle will be remembered for years.

زائرہ وسیم کے اس فیصلے پر سب نے ملے جلے جزبات کا اظہار کیا۔ کسی نے اس فیصلے کو سراہا تو کسی نے تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا۔

تنقید میں سب سے آگے رہیں روینا ٹنڈن جس نے اپنی ٹویٹ میں کہا کہ زائرہ وسیم ایک ناشکری لڑکی ہے کہ جس انڈسٹری نے اسے اتنا کچھ دیا وہ اسے اس طرح سے چھوڑ رہی ہے۔

انوپم کھیر نے کہا مجھے دکھ ہے کہ سترہ سالہ زائرہ وسیم کو یہ فیصلے لینا پڑا۔

کشمیر کے چیف منسٹر عمر عبداللہ نے کہا کہ ہر شخص اپنی زندگی کے فیصلوں میں آزاد ہے۔

فلم سٹار نغمہ نے کہا زائرہ وسیم ایک بہادر لڑکی ہے۔

یاد رہے کہ زائرہ وسیم کی آخری فلم “دی سکائی از پنک” اس سال اکتوبر میں ریلیز ہو رہی ہے جس میں ان کے ساتھ پریانکہ چوپڑہ اور فرحان اختر نے بھی کام کیا ہے۔ یہ زائرہ وسیم کی آخری فلم ہوگی۔
